Perspectives in Placement - Part Two

The dilemmas are one of the things that make decorating fun and interesting for me. I believe that the immense variety of situations and challenges are what has kept it fun. It fulfills the artist in me.

Doors offer this challenge, do we mount the cornice here or ? If the doors open out then cornices can be mounted anywhere. If the doors opening in they must not be blocked from opening. The cornice has to be mounted either above with enough clearance, or on the door, so that they can move freely. The side effect of this dilemma also shows how the position of a window treatment can give the illusion of height to doors or windows.
